Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, including battery management systems (BMS), sensors, and external databases.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient data ingestion, storage, and processing.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations in battery performance data.
- Design and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to extract valuable insights and predict battery behavior.
- Work with cross-functional teams such as engineering, R&D, and product management to define data requirements and analysis objectives.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and key performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot data anomalies or discrepancies, proposing solutions for data quality improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and battery analytics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred; other fields may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, ideally within the energy storage, renewable energy, or automotive sectors.
- Familiarity with database systems and query languages for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools and libraries for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methods.
- Experience working in multicultural teams and an interest in intercultural environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a self-organized approach to work.
- Knowledge of Battery Management Systems is a plus.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); proficiency in German is an advantage.
- Long-term experience with large storage systems is beneficial.
